A grande notícia de ontem no mercado artesanal norte americano foi o processo movido pela Lagunitas contra a Sierra Nevada.
Lagunitas acredita que o rotulo da nova cerveja da concorrente, Hop Hunter IPA, infringe a marca registrada de sua cervejaria, considerando que o design da sigla IPA é muito parecido e os consumidores podem se confundir com a nova cerveja, acreditando que ela seria uma colaboração entre as cervejarias.
Mas eles voltaram atrás rapidamente nesta batalha judicial. Tony Magee, o proprietário da Lagunitas, informou no Twitter que a empresa vai tirar o processo movido contra a Sierra Nevada.
